Below is not a schedule yet, but "At a Glance" of possible class offerings" at any venue in the future.

Posterior Fijian Massage - 8 CE Hrs - $160

Students experience the ancient art of Fijian Massage from the Fiji Islands where the village therapist is barefoot and gives a gentle, yet effective deep tissue massage.  Fijian Massage saves the therapist's hand, as hands are never used for support or to move or reposition the client.  Nine different parts of the foot are incorporated to massage the posterior body.  The therapist stands or sits comfortably in a chair and never walks on a client's back.  Clients remain clothed for this technique.

Anterior & Sidelying Fijian Massage  - 8 CE Hrs - $160

Refer to the Posterior Fijian Massage course, which is a prerequisite to taking the Anterior course.  Nine different parts of the foot are incorporated to massage the abdomen, upper chest, quadriceps, front of legs, arms, hands, shoulders and back from a side lying position.  Therapist mainly sits comfortably in a chair while giving this deeper therapeutic massage, although some standing is allowed.  Clients remain clothed for this technique.

Fijian Fusion Massage - 8 CE Hrs - $160

Lolita Knight and certified instructor Christyn Rittenhouse combined energies to develop advanced Knight/Rittenhouse Fijian massage strokes over the last 5 years.  This class includes self-care or your feet, stretching and an adaptation of the prone position with oil.  The Posterior OR Anterior Fijian Massage course is a prerequisite. Needed is a transfer bench or chair with a 29-inch width at the stance of the legs of the chair as therapist straddles the client for many of the strokes.

Chinese Facial Massage - 6 CE Hrs - $125 or Advanced 7 CE for $145.

Students learn a 5-step treatment involving 25 pressure points as taught to Lolita by Chinese Doctor Lily Fu.  The process involves the application of two natural products (honey and macadamia nut oil) to help remove tension, reduce facial lines, tone, uplift and enhance appearance.  Facial massage can benefit facial tics, Bells Palsy, eye droop, sinus problems and scars.  Rejuvenation strokes are included as well as external TMJ techniques.

Indian Head Massage - 4 CE Hrs - $95, 8 CE Hrs $155

While the title indicates only the head being massaged, this technique focuses on the parts of the body most prone to tension and stress, including the scalp, face, neck, upper arms, shoulders and upper back areas.  The client is seated in a chair, fully clothed.  Ayurvedic oil (which Lolita provides) is massaged into the scalp or, if preferred, all strokes can be completed on dry scalp.  Students learn and experience modern Indian Head massage which combines shiroabdyanga (the original family head massage), champi (more commonly found in barber shops in India) and Japanese shiatsu points.  Due to many massage therapists requesting adaptations for the table an 8-hour Indian Head technique that includes techniques for the table is also available.

Lolita Knight has 35 years massage experience, is the founder of the Fijian Massage gained while staying in Fiji and is NCBTMB approved since 2001.
