Energy Field Manipulation - NEW!
Sunday, April 10
9:30am to 4:15pm / 6 CE Hours / $120
Magnetic Field Manipulation is a simple to learn
technique and does not involve any physical touch.
Rather it utilizes the energy field that extends up to 2
inches beyond the skin. This field becomes unbalanced
with illness, stress or injury. Students will lean how to
identify the imbalances that can be felt in their own
hands as tingling, cold, heaviness or vacuum. Student
will then learn how to use their hands as a focus over the
client’s body to gently manipulate the body’s energy
field to a state of balance and health.
Crystal Polarity, in addition to Magnetic Field
Manipulation, will be taught. This method is more
complex and used crystals to balance the magnetic
fields. Lolita will have crystals available for class use
and they may be purchased for $5.
Lolita has practiced both of these energy methods
for over 30 years and finds them very effective. Note:
Energy Field Manipulation includes both of these
methods.
Comments from a recent student: Barbara Kilzer, St.
Elmo, Illinois, December 2010
Just a couple stories to tell: Mom has had no more
back pain-just stiffness. Mark (her husband) went most
of the day without ringing in his ears (that has almost
been constant for about 2 years now) & his pain in his
foot was gone until he was on his way home from
work. It normally hurts all day at work being on his
feet. Brant (her son) didn't cough all night last night! I
have had more clarity and energy!!
(Barb is suffering from Lyme disease and has been
continuously tired.)
Soft Touch Island Massage
Sunday, April 10
5:15 to 9pm / 4 CE Hours / $80
(Repeat to this course? See registration form.)
Lolita Knight, with over 30 years of a full time
massage career, has developed a whole new way of
providing deep relaxation massage from experiences
with island massage from Fiji and Tonga. Strokes are
completed using the hands, fingertips and forearm. As
the title suggests, this is a soft touch, not a mindless
“fluff” massage.
NOTE: Last year Lolita taught a 3 CE course and
has added new variances and more time for practice
to make for a 4 CE course if you wish to repeat it.
There are 10 different aspects of Soft Touch Island
Massage. Below are listed 5 of these to give you an
idea of the class offerings. The other five will be
presented in class.
1. Random plucking with thumbs and fingertips
coming together. Have most strokes be a light
touch including a few touches with medium
pressure.
2. Change the pressure while adding slight pauses via
“eye of the hurricane”stroke. Next vary sizes
keeping the odd slight haphazard pause.
3. Massage with upward circles (small, large and tiny)
or upward and outward circles or downward and
inward, etc. When feeling confident, have one hand
massaging differently than the other.
4. Lightly stroke half moon movements with one hand
following a circle with the other hand. The full
circle hand stays on the body with moving circles
while the half moon stroke leaves the body. The
half moon then touches a different part of the body
than where the full circle was made.
5. Vary direction and parts of body being touched.
Use your forearm to add 3-4 touches at once.
Why all the variances to strokes, pressure, direction and
style? Quite simply, when the client stops using their
brain to figure out where your hands are going to next,
the brain shuts off and then the client can totally feel
the strokes achieving a higher sense of relaxation. The
addition of sound effects brings attention to the strokes
and the pauses encourage letting go of stress.
Testimonials
Christa who has received hundreds of massage reported,
“This is the first massage I have ever had where I totally
relaxed for the entire massage. Normally I feel that pain
will happen and I have to guard against that.”
Terri was blissed out and said, “Very early on in the
massage I LET GO and felt more relaxed and relaxed in
different way. For me to let go is not normal. I am a
control freak. I want to have this kind of massage
again.”
Mark said, “It feels like 4 hands are massaging me. The
lack of the anticipation of the next stroke allowed me to
achieve a deeper state of relaxation.”
So for a totally blissful mind/body
relaxation massage– go to the Islands
with Soft Touch Islands Massage.
MATERIALS required: Students are to bring 2 sheets
(one flannel if possible as we add sound effects to the
massage) cradle covers, bolster or pillow. It actually
feels better being totally covered with a sheet and either
having no or little clothing on or being fully clothed with
clothing being free of zippers, belts, buttons and with no
bras. Tight, but comfortable is better than loose clothing.
The goal is for a smooth stroke over the top of the sheet.
However, wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Fijian Massage to Go
Monday, April 11
12:30pm to 4:30pm / 4 CE Hours / $80
(Repeat to this course? See registration form.)
Fijian To Go is designed to be a very mobile
barefoot technique to have at sporting events, family
settings and other massage opportunities such as
corporate massage. A minimum of equipment and
supplies are needed for this method and most can be
offered while sitting in a chair or even a sofa. The focus
areas to be massaged are the back, shoulders, gluteals
and legs.
Fijian Massage is a method where therapists use 9
different parts of their own feet to effectively massage
clients who are lying on padded cushions on the floor.
The main benefit of Fijian Massage is that it “saves the
therapist’s hands” thereby increasing the number of
“injury free” hours worked per day. This can raise the
number of clients seen per day plus adding to your
career longevity. In addition, it helps clients to recover
faster from muscle injuries and most clients prefer the
more gentle pressure with the heel of the foot being
utilized instead of the elbow.
The Fijian Massage does not include walking on
client’s back. All strokes can be done standing or sitting
in a chair as the weight of your leg gauges the pressure.
No hands, arms or shoulders are ever used with any
aspect of Fijian Massage making it truly a “hands
saving” technique.
Learning Objectives
• Study the history of Fijian Massage
• Practice balance techniques or simply sit in a chair
while giving the Fijian Massage.
• Learn how to effectively massage clients with your
feet.
• Obtain marketing skills for the Fijian Massage.
• Gain knowledge of the 9 different parts of the foot
for various strokes, pressure and positioning.
• Experience massaging while standing, sitting in a
chair and reclining on the floor.
• Recognize importance of foot care.
• Become skilled at deep therapeutic and lighter
relaxation strokes.
NOTE: If you have taken the Fijian Massage Posterior
for 8 CE this will be a good refresher for you as well as
a shortened version for first time Fijian massage
students. So trim your toenails and let’s learn an easy,
yet deep tissue technique to help athletes, office
workers, friends and family.
MATERIALS required: If possible bring a 3-6 foot
foam pad or 2-3 cushions for the client to lie on the
floor for support. Also bring a large sheet, 2 pillows,
water and snacks. Please wear cotton clothing, but no
jeans. T- shirts and light weight sweat shirts are best
and to have a collar if possible. No straps or zippers.
Testimonials can perhaps say it best!
Dear Lolita,
I was in your class in Atlanta a couple of weeks ago.
I had just injured my hand. My hand is not better. I have
an appointment to see my Doctor this afternoon to see
what he thinks.
Thank God and Thank you for Fijian Barefoot
Massage, otherwise I would be completely out of
business the last couple of weeks. I have been doing
barefoot massage since the seminar and I'm getting
favorable comments from my clients.
I'm going to work on marketing it more. I can do
Fijian Barefoot Massage all day and not get tired, (I
think)
The DVD I bought from you works just fine on my
home DVD player.
Thank you again,
Lisa Schudel
Hi Lolita!!!!! January 2010
Ohhhh man I can’t thank you enough right now! I
broke my wrist and had to have surgery, so the only
massage I can do until April while I heal is Fijian! I'm so
glad I learned your style of barefoot massage, it's helped
my clients a lot in the past, and its definitely saving my
career right now. Thank you!
:) I hope everything is great with you!

I greatly enjoyed your class. After only 2 years of
massage therapy I have already started to experience wrist
and shoulder discomfort. However, with Fijian Massage I
have learned that I can rely on other body parts (feet) to
do the work of the hands. I feel that my clients would
prefer to have Fijian massage as to regular massage.
Your knowledge of the subject was so informative and
you made the class fun and laid back. I would enjoy
taking classes with you in the future.
It was a pleasure having you as a teacher.
Thank you.

Hi Lolita December 2010
I had a new client for the Fijian today. She has quite
the story. She use to get rolfed and that was the only thing
that helped her hip feel better. Since her rolfer retired 8
years ago, she has been searching for a solution for the
pain. She has tried physical therapy, many other massage
therapists, she even had injections in an operating room
into the piriformis, gluteal muscles because the pain was
so severe she couldn't lift her right foot. And she says
after just one session of Fijian Massage, this is the best
she has felt in 8 years. I am very humbled by her progress
and thought it would make a good story for your teaching.
She also said, "I think if everybody gave Fijian
Massage a real chance, it would be the only massage they
would get."
Thank you for sharing this amazing technique with the
world, including me and my clients!

new frame of mind. It's fun! Imagine---feet doing the
work that hands have traditionally done. Fijian Barefoot
massage puts massage in a great new perspective.

Foot Reflexology - NEW!
Monday, April 11
5:30 to 9:15pm / 4 CE Hours / $80
Lolita learned Foot Reflexology in the 1970s with Dr.
John Christopher. After practising this for several
years, she learned other techniques and dropped doing
Foot Reflexology for a few years. Then on one
occasion, she was unable to help her client and
remembered Foot Reflexology and retuned to this very
basic, yet effective method. From that day forward she
has mainly used Foot Reflexology for pressure point
therapy as fewer points are required for stimulation and
results are often quite dramatic.
Foot Reflexology is very easy to learn and
memorize as the points on the feet mirror the body. For
example, the tops of the toes are the top of the bodyi.
e. the brain. Points for major organs and skeletal
system will be covered in this class.
MATERIALS required: Sheets for tables. Student
leave clothing on. Bring water, snack and dinner.
NOTE: NO pregnant students will be allowed to
receive a Foot Reflexology session, but can still learn
and practice giving.
